MEMBERSHIP TERMS & CONDITIONS

Membership Terms and Conditions Version Date: June 1, 2026

These Terms and Conditions (the “Agreement”) form a binding agreement between you (“you,” “your”) and the Greater Cleveland Urban Film Festival (“GCUFF”), a non-profit organization operating under the Greater Cleveland Urban Film Foundation. This Agreement governs the purchase, renewal, and use of any GCUFF memberships (“GCUFF Memberships”) and tickets to GCUFF events or screenings.

By purchasing or using a GCUFF Membership or ticket, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Any monetary amounts mentioned herein are in U.S. dollars unless otherwise noted.

Definitions

GCUFF Member(s): The individual(s) or entity recorded in GCUFF’s system as the registered account holder of a GCUFF Membership.  

• Membership: The annual GCUFF Membership offered by GCUFF. 

• You/Your: The person purchasing GCUFF Membership, GCUFF pass or ticket, including anyone to whom a Membership is gifted. If you gift a GCUFF Membership, you must ensure the recipient agrees to these Terms and Conditions before they use the Membership.

Membership Categories

GCUFF offers one annual Membership level. Membership benefits are connected to the registered Member account and are intended for individual use.

 

Eligibility and Membership Duration

Membership is open to individuals 18 years of age and older. GCUFF Memberships are annual and remain active for one year from the date of purchase.

Membership Benefits

GCUFF Membership benefits may include:

• 15% off eligible GCUFF merchandise purchased online or onsite

• $3 off eligible GCUFF tickets

• Invitations to special member events

• Discounts on future events

 

Specific benefits may vary by event, ticket type, merchandise item, sales channel, venue, partner agreement, or availability. Benefits are not guaranteed for all events or purchases. Benefits, including unused discounts, do not carry over into future membership years. GCUFF reserves the right to modify or discontinue specific benefits at its discretion.

 

Event Eligibility for Ticket Redemption

Not all GCUFF-hosted events are eligible for member discounts. Events such as fundraisers, special galas, limited-capacity programs, or those involving external partners may be excluded. Members may receive $3 off eligible GCUFF tickets unless otherwise stated. Additional tickets or excluded events will be sold at the applicable general admission rate. Memberships are non-transferable and intended for individual use. Violations may result in revocation without a refund.

 

Member Responsibilities

Members must promptly inform GCUFF of changes to personal details, including payment information, contact address, or email. Members are expected to maintain their accounts and regularly review updates or changes to the Terms. GCUFF reserves the right to restrict membership benefits at specific events.

Cancellation and Termination

Members may cancel their membership at any time by contacting GCUFF Member Services at MemberServices@gcuff.org or through their Eventive account. Cancellation requests must be submitted at least 15 days before the renewal date to avoid charges for the subsequent year. No pro-rated refunds will be issued for cancellations. GCUFF reserves the right to suspend or terminate memberships for violations of these Terms, the Privacy Policy, Event Participation and Content Policy, or Code of Conduct.

Dispute Resolution

Members are encouraged to contact GCUFF directly at MemberServices@gcuff.org for any disputes related to membership terms, benefits, or other questions. In the event of unresolved disputes, members agree to resolve matters through mediation or arbitration.

Changes to Terms

GCUFF reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Members will be notified of significant changes via email or through updates on the GCUFF website at least 30 days in advance. Continued use of membership benefits following such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Code of Conduct

By purchasing a membership to the Greater Cleveland Urban Film Festival (GCUFF), you agree to adhere to the GCUFF Code of Conduct and the GCUFF these Membership Terms and Conditions. Failure to observe organizational policies regarding member conduct at GCUFF events and screenings may result in the termination of your membership without a refund.

 

GCUFF reserves the right to revoke membership or deny entry to any event for violations of this Code of Conduct, without refund or compensation.

Miscellaneous

Admission to events is contingent upon venue seating capacity and the festival's door policy. Members are advised to arrive early to secure entry.
