MEMBERSHIP TERMS & CONDITIONS
The GCUFF (Greater Cleveland Urban Film Festival) is an integral part of the Greater Cleveland Urban Film Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting cultural and educational opportunities through film. These terms and conditions are specifically tailored for the memberships and GCUFF Film Festival.
These Terms and Conditions (the “Agreement”) form a binding agreement between you (“you,” “your”) and the Greater Cleveland Urban Film Festival (“GCUFF”), a non-profit organization operating under the Greater Cleveland Urban Film Foundation. This Agreement governs the purchase, renewal, and use of any GCUFF memberships (“GCUFF Memberships”) and tickets to GCUFF events or screenings.

By purchasing or using a GCUFF Membership or ticket, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Any monetary amounts mentioned herein are in U.S. dollars unless otherwise noted.

Definitions

GCUFF Member(s): The individual(s) or entity recorded in GCUFF’s system as the registered account holder of a GCUFF Membership.

Membership: Refers collectively to all GCUFF Membership tiers.

You/Your: The person purchasing a GCUFF Membership or ticket, including anyone to whom a Membership is gifted. If you gift a GCUFF Membership, you must ensure the recipient agrees to these Terms and Conditions before they use the Membership.

Membership Categories:

Bronze Membership: Entry-level membership provides basic benefits.

Silver Membership: Offers additional benefits beyond the Bronze tier.

Gold Membership: Premium membership tier with enhanced benefits.

Platinum Membership: The highest tier of membership, offering the most extensive range of benefits.
Age Requirement:

All applicants must be at least 18 years old at the time of application. The organization reserves the right to request proof of age for verification purposes.

Membership Duration and Renewal:

Memberships are granted on an annual basis and are valid for one festival cycle.

Memberships purchased between February 1 and May 31, 2025 are valid for one year from the purchase date and will automatically renew on the same date the following year unless canceled.

Memberships acquired after May 31 will remain valid until May 31, 2026, at which point they will be subject to renewal.

All memberships, regardless of tier, are subject to the same expiration and renewal policies.

Membership renewal is automatic unless canceled at least 15 days before the renewal date. Cancellation requests must be submitted online, by phone, or email at MemberServices@gcuff.org
Membership Benefits:

Various discounts on passes and events, subject to terms and conditions.

Benefits, including unused discounts, do not carry over to subsequent membership years.
Event Eligibility for Ticket Redemption:

Not all events hosted by the organization are eligible for member discounts.

Availability of discounts may vary based on membership tier.

The organization retains the right to exclude certain events from discount programs, such as fundraisers, special galas, or events involving external partners.
Member Responsibilities:

Members are responsible for informing the organization of any changes in personal details, including payment information, contact address, or email. Login your GCUFF Membership account, select Menu and account maintenance

Members are expected to maintain their membership account and regularly check for updates or changes in terms and conditions.
Dispute Resolution:

In the event of disputes related to membership terms, benefits, or other issues we encourage members to approach the organization with their concerns for resolution MemberServices@gcuff.org
Code of Conduct
All GCUFF members, attendees, and participants are expected to engage respectfully with staff, volunteers, fellow members, and guests at all GCUFF events. By purchasing a membership or attending an event, you agree to:

Conduct yourself in a professional and respectful manner at all times.

Follow all venue and event policies, including those related to safety and security.

Refrain from any form of harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior.

Respect the decisions and instructions of GCUFF staff and event organizers.
GCUFF reserves the right to revoke membership or deny entry to any event for violations of this Code of Conduct, without refund or compensation

Miscellaneous:
GCUFF reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be communicated via email or posted on GCUFF’s website. Continued use of your Membership after any changes are posted indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms and Conditions.​
Pass and Ticket Policies:

If a lost or stolen pass is lost, a re-issue may be requested for a $50 fee. Proof of identification must be presented.

The purchase of a pass or ticket does not guarantee admission. Admission is contingent upon the venue's seating capacity and the festival's door policy.

Passholders are advised to arrive in advance of their scheduled showtime to ensure admission.
