Confidentiality Agreement

As a volunteer of this organization, I understand that I may have access to confidential information, both verbal and written, relating to filmmakers, films, passwords, judging procedures, and financial information all associated with the Greater Cleveland Urban Film Festival. I understand, and agree, that all such information is to be treated confidentially and discussed only within the boundaries of my volunteer position at this organization. I also agree not to discuss these same matters after I have left my volunteer position at this organization. I further understand that breach of this agreement shall constitute grounds for and may result in termination of my volunteer status with this organization.

Volunteer Status and Insurance

As a volunteer of the Greater Cleveland Urban Film Festival, I understand that I am not an employee and that I will not receive any compensation for the donation of my time and work performed for the event. I hereby acknowledge that my services shall be rendered solely on a volunteer basis. Furthermore, I understand that the Greater Cleveland Urban Film Festival does not cover me by any insurance such as worker’s compensation, etc. in the event of illness or injury. I also understand that some volunteer positions may require heavy lifting and standing for long periods, and I certify that I am physically capable of performing these tasks or will inform the Volunteer Coordinators of any limitations.
