Confidentiality Agreement

As a volunteer of this organization, I understand that I may have access to confidential information, both verbal and written, relating to filmmakers, films, passwords, judging procedures, and financial information all associated with the Greater Cleveland Urban Film Festival. I understand, and agree, that all such information is to be treated confidentially and discussed only within the boundaries of my volunteer position at this organization. I also agree not to discuss these same matters after I have left my volunteer position at this organization. I further understand that breach of this agreement shall constitute grounds for and may result in termination of my volunteer status with this organization.

Volunteer Status and Insurance

I acknowledge that my services for GCUFF are strictly voluntary and that I am not considered an employee. I understand that I will not receive wages, benefits, or compensation for my volunteer time. I further acknowledge that GCUFF does not provide insurance coverage such as worker’s compensation for volunteers. I accept responsibility for my own health and safety and understand that I am not covered by GCUFF for any illness, injury, or accident that may occur while volunteering.

I also understand that volunteer duties may require physical activities including lifting objects weighing 25 pounds or more and standing or sitting for extended periods. By signing this agreement, I certify that I am physically capable of performing these tasks.
