I understand that my participation with the Greater Cleveland Urban Film Festival is voluntary and that I am not an employee of the organization. I will not receive wages, compensation, or employment benefits for my services.
I understand that volunteer activities may involve physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, lifting materials, assisting with event setup or breakdown, and other event support duties. I confirm that I am physically capable of performing these tasks or will inform the Volunteer Coordinator of any limitations.
I acknowledge that participation in volunteer activities carries certain inherent risks. I voluntarily assume responsibility for any risks associated with my participation and release the Greater Cleveland Urban Film Festival, its staff, board members, partners, sponsors, and affiliated personnel from liability for injury, illness, property damage, or other claims that may arise from my volunteer participation.
I further understand that the Greater Cleveland Urban Film Festival does not provide insurance coverage for volunteers, including workers compensation or medical insurance.
I grant permission to the Greater Cleveland Urban Film Festival to photograph, film, or otherwise record my participation as a volunteer and to use these images or recordings for promotional, marketing, educational, or archival purposes without compensation.
